ASKING FOR DETAILS ABOUT AN EVENT

To ask for the date, we use the
WH-Question “WHEN”. For example:
- When is the Super Bowl LIII?
- When is the FIFA World Cup 2022?
- When is the USA Open?
Place
To ask for the place, we use the
WH-Question “WHERE”. For example:
- Where is the Super Bowl LIII?
- Where is the FIFA World Cup 2022?
- Where is the USA Open?
Time
To ask for the hour, we use the
WH-Question “WHAT TIME". For example:
- What is the Super Bowl LIII?
- What is the FIFA World Cup 2022?
- What is the USA Open?
Remember that these three WH-Questions can be used to ask for details about a show or event and to ask for details about it. You can use them to get more information about an invitation as well.
