When talking about our habits, routines or things that happen regularly we sometimes want to give more details about
the frequency of these actions. One way to do it is using expressions such as: always,
sometimes, never, on Friday, every week,
twice a month, once a year, etcetera.

As you could see, there are expressions that help us share more about ourselves. The same happens when talking about past events.
