We use time expressions such as every day or every morning with the present simple to express the frequency of our daily activities.

For example:
Luciana takes English every Saturday.

Roxana goes to the gym every afternoon.
Notice that the word EVERY goes at the end of the sentence.
There are some other expressions to refer to the frequency of our activities. You can say:
ON + Day of a week
For example:
Roy and Tamara have English lessons ON Monday and Wednesday.
Perla goes to the cinema ON Wednesdays.
I cook ON Saturdays.
Notice that this expression goes at the end of the sentence.
You can say “on weekends” (American English) “at weekends” (British English), “at the weekend” (British English) or “on the weekend” (American English).

You can also use expressions such as ONCE, TWICE, THREE TIMES, FOUR TIMES, ETC.
Alonso eats pizza I go to the dentist twice a year.
