It started in 2011 to make people buy any kind of objects to lower prices and reactivate Mexican economy. It takes place on the second week in November. It lasts for four days and people can find discounts in any products and services. Its main purpose is to reactivate economy and people buy meaningful things. (This is not always the case)
It started in 1961 to name the panic shopping before Thanksgiving. But it was officially used until 1975. It takes place on Friday after Thanksgiving. It lasts for only one day. But since 2005 because of “Cyber Monday” some shops extend it to four days. Its main purpose is to officially begin Christmas shopping.
