Put it all together

Now it's time to put everything you have learnt into practice. Answer the exercises and the self evaluation to see how well you do it.

Writing Exercise

Read the conversation and write the adjectives in brackets in the correct form.

Andy: Hi, Amy! How is everything?
Amy: Hi, Andy! I'm great! What about you?
Andy: Well, I'm not so good (good).
Amy: Why is that?
Andy: Peter, the tallest (tall) guy from our Science class, invited me to his party this Friday.
Amy: Nooo! This Friday is Minnie's party!
Andy: I know! I want to go to Minnie's because I think she is nicer (nice) than Peter, but I also think that Peter's will be more fun, but more tiring (tiring) at the same time and I have an English test next morning.
Amy: Mmmh... I don't totally agree. Minnie is more friendly/friendlier (friendly) and more extroverted (extroverted) than Peter, so I think her party can have potential. However, Dan is going to Peter's. I know you like Dan.
Andy: Dan? Who's that? Is he shorter (short) than Peter?
Amy: Dan is Peter's best friend, in fact, he is taller (tall) than him. He's very cute.
Andy: Ohhh! I know Dan! It's settled. I'm going to Peter's party!
Amy: Ha, ha, ha! I knew it.
