Nowadays technology allows people to interact in different ways, without moving from one place to another. Distance cannot pull people apart from each other anymore. We can meet people from other countries, learn new things, share anecdotes and many other experiences with them.
Imagine you have a friend from an English-speaking country, and you arrange a video call with him or her. This new friend wants to know everything about you, but this time he or she wants to know about the vacation time you remember most.

“My favorite vacation time was last summer, it was a long vacation period and I traveled to Sonora in Mexico with my family. I wasn't very happy because I wanted to go to a different beach, but my parents decided to go there. At the beginning it seemed to be boring, but a lot of exciting and fun things happened and at the end it was great!
We stayed in different hotels because my father planned to have a tour around Sonora.
First, I went to my father's best friend's house who lives in Hermosillo and I tasted the best tacos in my life there.
Then we went to “Las dunas de San Nicolas” in Hermosillo too. It was a wonderful experience. My siblings and I practice Sandboarding there, in the middle of the desert! It was fun and very cheap.
After that we went to Sonoyta where we had the most delicious food in Sonora. We also visited a big park where you can do many things and there was a concert during our stay.
At night I went to bed thinking about the activities we could do on the following day. I asked my father about that, but he said he had a surprise.
And what a surprise it was! We had an amazing day because we woke up very early that day and my father rented a car, it was a long way like five or six hours. But, suddenly, we were there… on the beach!! El Golfo de Santa Clara is a wonderful place. I love the beach and my father knew that, so he took us there. We stayed at the Golfo for three days”.
